WriterCoach Connection trains and connects caring volunteers (who we call coaches) with Bay Area middle and high school students to engage, encourage, and inspire them to think more critically and write more skillfully.

We bring our programs and our volunteers to the students for free, removing the barriers of transportation and cost that exist to access high-quality programs.

Our vision is that all students discover the power and richness of their own voices and learn to communicate their ideas with clarity and confidence to enable them to participate successfully in personal and academic challenges, career options, and community conversations.
